Trillium ovatum as seen from the road
this area will be used for widening the road within the next year or two

 closer look, these are in full mid day sun

some seem to be turning color already
& it is only March ?

looking more closely I noticed some marbled leaves

looking  more closely I saw marbled leaves every where mixed in with the T.ovatum
low & behold they were T. kurabayashii by the 100's 

100's of  kurabayashii and none where yellow :-(
